The next step that you will want to take before you start installing anything is to make sure that you have the proper measurements. This can include measurements from trap to pan, and the height and the width of the area. People usually choose to tile their shower with a different type of tile so you will want to make sure that you have the tile samples with you so you can get a quick estimate on how many tiles you will need to cover your shower area.

At the time before installation, you will want to call a plumber so that you do not mess anything up. A plumber will help to install any necessary pipes and will make sure the parts are working properly. They will make sure that the water line going to the shower area is working properly. At this point in time you will need some specific hardware which the plumber can advise you of. After the plumber has left you will be able to install the shower head as well as any bath settings.
